In 1989, two men made the commitment to pursue a dream they both shared - to create and bring to fruition a new home building company. David Hill and Bobby Bhoola were a perfect pairing for this enterprise, with extensive expertise in home building and land and commercial development./p>
The partners shared a goal which has become the cornerstone of Ballantry Homes: It is to build with the finest quality in design, materials, construction and especially to offer exceptional customer service.

Baron Nelson Architects (BNA) has been responsible for some of the most exciting and innovative residential projects in the Greater Toronto Area. The partners Martin Baron and Jason Nelson have each won multiple awards recognizing their leadership in design excellence, innovation and sustainability. WP are excited to be able to bring BNA in as creative partners for The Wilmot.
WP challenged BNA to boldly create an entirely new architectural expression that represents outstanding design without compromise.
The architects responded with two years of design exploration and studies, testing many different building forms and sculptural shapes, materials, colours patterns and textures. The result is The Wilmot, a striking new building that is opulent and modern with a playful edge. The façade of the building undulates gracefully up and down, in and out, expressing a dancing motion across the length of the building that has been frozen in time.
Gold-metal fins across the surface catch sunlight during the day and moonlight at night creating a luxurious and ever-changing screen in front of the façade. White quarts stone provides a heavy base that roots the building to the ground and emphasizes the lightness of the building above. The building wraps the site to create a quiet, lushly landscaped courtyard with a luxurious double-height entrance into the main lobby. The suite plans are open and efficient, maximising usable space and daylight. The partnership between WP and Baron Nelson Architects has been collaborative and has created a unique synergy resulting in a truly exceptional design.
The Patton Design Studio is a team of interior designers, technologists and support staff that have worked with developers and private residential clients for over 30 years.
We continue to progress and grow, building on the strength and tradition of excellence which is our shared history. Our projects include prestigious high rise and low rise developments as well as private city and country residences.
For obvious reasons, interior designers are often preoccupied with how things look. The P/D/S approach is different. We begin by addressing the goal that each design is to accomplish and then work to find a solution that is best for the client. Then we concentrate on how it looks. For a Sales Presentation Centre, Condominium Lobby and Amenities or a Private Residence, this approach is extremely important. The result isn’t just design that looks beautiful, but design that works beautifully!
The Patton Design Studio is not tied to a signature style. Diversity continues to challenge our creative interpretation to reflect our clients aspirations. We assess and interpret the tastes of our markets and clients and their objectives, then design to satisfy their requirements. We are creative, knowledgeable, talented, energetic and experienced. We work well collaboratively as part of a team with other consultants. We are fortunate to be living at this time in Canada where so much cultural evolution is occurring at such a rapid pace. Rich, novel ideas about how we live are constantly being revealed through our contact with other cultures. It is by combining the old and new, foreign and familiar that we find inspiration in design that is relevant to all of our design and marketing work.
For nearly 40 years, Janet Rosenberg & Studio (JRS) have created beautiful landscapes and intelligent urban spaces that have significantly advanced the landscape architecture profession in Canada. The firm’s work consistently demonstrates a creative and innovative approach to design, a strong commitment to sustainability, and a sophisticated cross-disciplinary approach to large urban projects.
JRS is recognized for its extensive and award-winning portfolio of work that includes public, commercial, and institutional spaces as well as private residential gardens, green roofs, and condominium developments.
JRS is delighted to be collaborating with WP Development and the design team on this wonderful residential project. The landscape design includes a large beautiful courtyard garden that will include lush gardens in a tapestry of seasonal colours and textures, and spaces for relaxation and contemplation. Beautiful plantings extend to the 7th floor amenity terrace, and frame areas for lounging, dining and entertaining. Extensive green roofs enhance the sustainability features of the project. We really wanted this project from the street frontages to the entrance and courtyard to feel inviting and integrated within the broader context of the surrounding community.
